Terms and Conditions of Use of Catholic Bible Life Movement System Chapter 1 General ProvisionsThe purpose of these terms and conditions is to define the rights, obligations and responsibilities of users, and other necessary matters in use the Internet-related services provided by ‘Catholic Bible Life Movement’, a member of IFoundation Corporation) Congregation of Sisters of Our Lady of Perpetual Help.
These terms and conditions shall be effective by posting them on the Internet service screen (biblemove.com) or by disclosing them to users. "Catholic Bible Life Movement“ may change the Terms and Conditions, and the changed Terms and Conditions shall take effect by notifying or posting them.
What is not specified in these terms and conditions, if it is stipulated in Act on Regulation of Terms and Conditions, Framework Act on Telecommunications, Telecommunications Business Act, Personal Information Protection Act, Promotion of Information and Communication Network Use, and other relevant laws and regulations, it is subject to those regulations.
- The terms used in these Terms and Conditions are defined as follows.
- 1. Catholic Bible Life Movement: An Internet Site that ‘Catholic Bible Life Movement’, a member of (Foundation Corporation) Congregation of Sisters of Our Lady of Perpetual Help provides Bible-related education program services using information and communication facilities such as computers.
- 2. Users: Members and nonmembers who access "Catholic Bible Life Movement“ and receive services under these Terms and Conditions.
- 3. Member: A person who has agreed to these Terms and Conditions and has registered as a member of "Catholic Bible Life Movement“.
- 4. Nonmember: A person who does not agree to these Terms and Conditions and use the service provided by "Catholic Bible Life Movement“.
- 1. After filling out the membership information according to the registration form determined by "Catholic Bible Life Movement“ and by expressing agreement to the Terms and Conditions and collecting personal information, etc., the user may apply for Membership Registration.

2. "Catholic Bible Life Movement“ registers as a member among the users who applied for membership as in paragraph 1 unless he/she falls under any of the following subparagraphs.
- ① In the case that the applicant for registration has previously lost his/her membership pursuant to Article 6 (2) of these Terms and Conditions
- ② (Personal Information) In the case of a false, omission of entry, or a mistake in the registration contents
- ③ In the case of promotion or dissemination the contents against the teachings and beliefs of Catholic Church, or of interfering with the work of the Catholic Bible Life Movement by slander, dissemination of false information, or other methods
- ④ In the case of a history of the act of ③ in society is confirmed prior to Membership Registration
- ⑤ In the case of a history of obstructing the work of the "Catholic Bible Life Movement"
- ⑥ If it is deemed that registration as a member is significantly impaired by the description of the "Catholic Bible Life Movement"
- 3. The time of establishment of Membership Registration shall be the time when the "Catholic Bible Life Movement“ approved.
- 4. If there is a change in registration matters in accordance with the subscription form under Article 5 (1), you should immediately notify the "Catholic Bible Life Movement“ of the changes by e-mail or other methods.
- 5. "Catholic Bible Life Movement“ can classify the qualifications among the users members registered into Chief Manager, Manager, "Catholic Bible Life Movement“ Sister, Servant, Representative Servant, Regular Member, and Congregation Sister, etc. Depending on the eligibility, "Catholic Bible Life Movement“ can allow or restrict access to some menus within the site.
- 1. Members may request withdrawal from the "Catholic Bible Life Movement“ at any time and in that case, the "Catholic Bible Life Movement" will immediately process the membership withdrawal. If you withdraw from membership, you can rejoin after one month unless there are special circumstances. However, if you leave by mistake, or if you leave against your will, we can immediately allow your rejoin.

2. If a member falls under any of the following reasons, "Catholic Bible Life Movement“ may restrict, suspend, or lose its membership.
- ① In the case of register with false information at the time of application for membership
- ② In the case of illegal use of someone else's ID and password or personal information by theft
- ③ In the case of the order of electronic transactions threatened, such as obstructing the use of other people's "Catholic Bible Life Movement“ or stealing such information
- ④ In the case of interfering with the operation of the "Catholic Bible Life Movement“, such as changing the information provided to the "Catholic Bible Life Movement”
- ⑤ In the case of using "Catholic Bible Life Movement“ to engage in acts against the laws prohibited by these Terms and Conditions or contrary to public order and morality
- ⑥ In the case of promoting or disseminating contents against the teachings and beliefs of the Catholic Church or In the case of hindering the operation of duties, programs, etc. of Catholic Bible Life Movement by slander, dissemination of false information, or other methods
- ⑦ Where it is deemed inappropriate to continue its qualifications as a member
- 3. After the "Catholic Bible Life Movement“ restricts or suspends its membership, if the same act is repeated more than twice, or the reason is not corrected within 30 days, "Catholic Bible Life Movement” can disqualify the membership.
- 4. If the "Catholic Bible Life Movement“ disqualifies its membership, it will cancel its membership. In this case, we notify members of this and give them the opportunity to explain before cancellation of membership registration.
- 1. When "Catholic Bible Life Movement“ notify to members, it can be done at the email address submitted by the member to "Catholic Bible Life Movement“.
- 2. In the case of notification to a large number of unspecified members, "Catholic Bible Life Movement“ can replace individual notifications by posting them on the announcement board.
When the matters stated at the time of application for use are changed, the member must change the information according to the the form and method prescribed separately by the "Catholic Bible Life Movement“.
- 1. The "Catholic Bible Life Movement“ may restrict or suspend all or part of services in any of the following cases.
- ① In the case that the maintenance inspection of devices such as systems, replacement, failure of systems, interruption of communication, and other irresistible reasons have occurred
- ② In the case of a national emergency, a power outage, a service facility failure, or a congestion of use, etc.
- ③ Any other reason for the inability of the "Catholic Bible Life Movement“ to provide the service occurs
- 2. In the case of paragraph (1), when the reason is expected to occur, the reason shall be notified in advance on the website and the member shall be notified
- 3. "Catholic Bible Life Movement“ does not compensate for damages suffered by the user or the third party due to the restriction or suspension of the provision of services by the reasons referred to in paragraph (1). However, this is not the case if there is gross negligence of the "Catholic Bible Life Movement”.
- 1. In running a service, "Catholic Bible Life Movement” can post various information on the service screen or provide to members by e-mail.
- 2. In relation with the operation of the service, "Catholic Bible Life Movement” can post advertisements etc. on the website, service screen, SMS, and e-mail, etc.
- 1. Except in the cases of Articles 9 and 10, "Catholic Bible Life Movement” will do the best to provide services continuously and reliably as stipulated in these Terms and Conditions.
- 2. When collecting the user's personal information, we certainly obtain the user's consent.
- 3. "Catholic Bible Life Movement” does not divulge or distribute members' personal information to third parties without their consent. However, this is not the case for any of the following.
- 1) Where a request is made by a relevant agency for investigative purposes under the relevant statutes
- 2) Upon request of Korea Communications Standards Commission (KCSC)
- 3) in accordance with other relevant laws and regulations
- 4) When it is for the purpose of statistics preparation, public relations materials, academic research, etc. that cannot identify a particular individual
- 3. "Catholic Bible Life Movement” does not divulge or distribute members' personal information to third parties without their consent. However, this is not the case for any of the following.
- ① In case of providing and using the minimum necessary information to an operator, person in charge, host, volunteer, etc. when it is necessary for the member's education, group study, training, events, performance of other duties of the "Catholic Bible Life Movement", and progress of the program
- ② When provided for the purpose of statistics preparation, public relations materials (PR), and academic research, etc. that cannot identify a specific individual
- ③ Upon request of Korea Communications Standards Commission
- ④ Where a request is made by a relevant agency for investigative or judicial purposes under the relevant statutes
- ⑤ Where there are special provisions in other statutes or in order to comply with statutory obligations
- ⑥ Where other activities are necessary for the Catholic Bible Life Movement
- 4. "Catholic Bible Life Movement” can make statistical data on the personal information of all or part of the members are prepared without prior consent of the members in relation to their work, and for this can send cookies to a member's computer. In this case members may change the setting of a browser on a computer that denies receipt of cookies or alerts to receipt of cookies

- 1. A member is obliged to manage his/her ID and Password, the Member shall be responsible for any consequences arising from the Member's negligence in management.

- 3. Members cannot use by copying, duplicating, altering, transmitting, translating, publishing, broadcasting, etc. and cannot provide any information obtained by service to others without prior consent of the "Catholic Bible Life Movement".
- 4. Where there is any change in the contents of the application for use, members shall notify the contents to the "Catholic Bible Life Movement" through the change of personal information of the service.

5. A member shall not engage in any of the following acts when he/she uses "Catholic Bible Life Movement".
- ① The act of stealing or using the ID and password of another member
- ② The act of disseminating private revelation or doctrines that defy the teachings and beliefs of the Catholic Church or violate the church's right to correctional authority
- ③ The act of damaging or disadvantaging the reputation of other people
- ④ The act of posting obscene materials on bulletin boards, etc. or linking (link) obscene sites
- ⑤ The act of infringing on the copyright of the "Catholic Bible Life Movement", the copyright of a third party, and other rights
- ⑥ The act that harms public order and manners and customs
- ⑦ The act of registering or disseminating computer virus infection data
- ⑧ Any activity that may interfere with or impede the operation of the service
- ⑨ Other acts of violating relevant laws and regulations
The rights to all materials (including communications between members) posted in "Catholic Bible Life Movement" are as follows.
- 1. Copyright and other intellectual property rights concerning information prepared by "Catholic Bible Life Movement" belong to "Catholic Bible Life Movement".
- 2. The right and responsibility for the post lies with "Catholic Bible Life Movement" and it cannot be used for commercial purposes without the consent of "Catholic Bible Life Movement".
- 3. Users should not use or make the third party use materials posted on the service for profit, such as processing and selling information obtained using "Catholic Bible Life Movement", and copyright infringement on posts is subject to relevant laws and regulations.
- 4. In case of the contents posted or registered by a member or the contents of the post falling under each subparagraph of Article 16, "Catholic Bible Life Movement" can delete, move or deny registration without prior notice.
A member shall not transfer or donate his/her authority to use the service or his/her status in the use contract to another person, and cannot provide this as collateral.
- 1. "Catholic Bible Life Movement" can allow or restrict the use of the service based on the classification of the user's authority (Servant, Representative Servant, general members, and Congregation sister).
- 2. If the contents of Articles 6, 13, 14, and 15 are violated, the use of the service may be restricted.
- 3. Restrictions on service use include caution, warning, and suspension of use.
- 1. Copying the materials and images from the "Catholic Bible Life Movement", not only for commercial purposes, but also copying, unauthorized premises, or simple links to individuals or organizations' homepages without permission is restricted.
- 2. If you link the entire "Catholic Bible Life Movement" to another website by banner, etc., you must obtain permission in advance.
The "Catholic Bible Life Movement" cannot not be liable for any damages incurred to the user in connection with the services provided free of charge.
- 1. If a member violates these Terms and Conditions and causes damage to the "Catholic Bible Life Movement", any member who violates these Terms and Conditions shall compensate for any damages incurred to the "Catholic Bible Life Movement".
- 2. Due to illegal acts committed by members in the use of services or violations of these terms and conditions, if "Catholic Bible Life Movement" has filed various objections, including claims for damages or lawsuits, from third parties other than the relevant member, the member shall indemnify the "Catholic Bible Life Movement" at his own responsibility and expense, and if "Catholic Bible Life Movement" is not exempted, the relevant member must compensate for all the damages incurred in the "Catholic Bible Life Movement" as a result.
The Terms and Conditions are enforced by posting on the site of the Catholic Bible Life Movement after November 5, 2024.
As to what is not specified in the Terms and Conditions and the interpretation of these Terms and Conditions, we follow the Electronic Transaction Consumer Protection Guidelines and related laws or regulations established by the government.
